#10 Add Ingredients Individually
The lazy way to cook is to add all of your ingredients at once, and cook them together. If you want better results, spend a little more time to treat each ingredient in the way that is best for it. For example, if you’re making a potato leek soup, sweating the leeks on their own will bring out their natural sugars and flavors. Do this before you add them to the soup, and it will enhance the flavor of the final dish. ~ Chef Tony Nogales
