#2 – Inland Taipan

The Inland Taipan is considered as one of the most poisonous serpents on earth. It is commonly known as the small-scaled snake and fierce snake. It can be found in the arid regions of Central to Eastern Australia. The venom of the Inland Taipan contains Taipoxin and protease enzymes which is sufficient to kill 100 fully grown men or 250,000 mice. Believe it or not, its venom is 200-400 times more toxic than a common cobra. A single bite can lead to death within few minutes.
