The first real YouTube star (according to The New Yorker), Brooke Brodack rose to fame thanks to her comedy and parody viral videos. She began posting her videos in September 2005, and received much attention only a month later, after releasing her most popular video to date called “Crazed Numa Fan!!!!” This video is a parody of the Numa Numa Dance, which was quite a popular Internet meme at that time. Her channel stood as the most subscribed for 45 days.
