#3 – Pripyat
Pripyat is an abandoned city located in northern Ukraine, near to the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. The city had to be vacated by its 46,000 residents just a few days after the Chernobyl disaster in April 1986. Some of the most well-known images of this desolate city are the rusting Ferris Wheel and overgrown dodgems in an amusement park due to open five days after the disaster.
