A cartel is a formal arrangement among competing groups designed to reduce competition and increase its members’ profits. This is achieved through controlling and fixing prices, marketing and production and perhaps the most well known cartel is OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries). This article focuses on more criminal organizations which were sorted at random and are extremely powerful global economic entities, with at least $1 billion in annual profits.
#1 – Camorra

Camorra is the oldest and largest criminal organisation of Italy, dating back to the 18th century.
Unlike other large criminal organisations, they have an horizontal structure and each clan acts independently of each other. This makes the Camorra more resilient when top leaders are arrested or killed.
Like in the Old Days when two rulers married to keep the peace between the two Kingdoms; the Camorra has forged alliances with Nigerian and Albanian gangs through marriages.
Until the $1 bill is taken out of circulation by the United States of America the Camorra will keep growing bleaching bills and reprinting them as $100 bills.
