#5 – Albert Einstein (1879 – 1955)
Albert Einstein was a German physicist. His name is nowadays synonymous with the word “genius”. He formulated the general theory of relativity and is famous for the mass-energy equation E =mc2. He won the Nobel Prize in Physics for the discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect, which became the basis of the Quantum Theory.
