#9 – Hadrian’s Wall
Hadrian’s Wall Country stretches from Ravenglass in north west England to South Shields in the north east of England. The coast to coast wall was built by the Romans to protect Roman England from Scottish tribes. The wall is one of the best preserved pieces of Roman heritage and with miles of unspoilt land, breathtaking landscapes and friendly pubs, it is a great area to visit.
