#3 – “I Wish I Had Children”

One of the most common fears that middle-aged people have is growing lonely into old age, especially in today’s modern society where people often move away from their family in early adulthood, for career or business reasons. As we move through life, we start to lose loved ones: first parents, then other family members and friends. Unless we have children, then the chances of us becoming more isolated increase.
That’s not to say you should have children just for this reason and for some, not having children is the right choice for them. But having a family is one of the most fulfilling and joyous things anyone can do and will help to give your life purpose in your golden years.
