#2 – Medication
Medication is often required to treat different types of ailments from bacterial and fungal infections to more serious illnesses. Some types of medication such as penicillin, aspirin, sulfa drugs and insulin may cause mild to severe allergic reactions which include itchy eyes, hives, congestion, a swollen face, mouth and throat. The mild symptoms can be treated with antihistamines. If, however, you experience symptoms such as difficulty in breathing, dizziness, nausea, confusion and abdominal pains, then you may require an epinephrine injection immediately to save your life. It is also advisable that you stop taking the drugs you are allergy to and seek medical attention
