#4 – Dogs Help With Children’s Behavior

A common behavior associated with children who have autism is that they wander away.  This is dramatic for families and can place children in life threatening situations.  Autistic children are not able to understand the dangers that are in their environment.  Autism Assistance Dogs have been trained to track a child that has wandered away, and these therapy dogs even have the ability to track a child that has been missing for a long time.
