Salmon is practically like a nutrition mix between the previous two foods we mentioned. It is packed with both protein of very high quality and is the best source of omega-3 fatty acids. These fatty acids are known for their ability that helps with a faster recovery of your muscles after a heavy workout. Once the muscles are recovered, it is easier for them to store the new protein you get from eating salmon. Remember that omega-3 fatty acids are also crucial for proper function of the immune system.
