#6 – Energy Bars
We already talked about a similar subject in the ‘Sports Drinks’ section, and we will say it again – you most likely won’t ever need energy bars unless you are a professional athlete, or if you are doing an extremely intense workout. The people who should consume energy bars are the ones who have the need to eat every two or three hours, and who need to keep their protein levels high. However, most people tend to eat these bars instead of eating a breakfast, which is very bad for you, simply because it is not real food. Almost all of these bars are processed products that contain the same ingredients as an unhealthy chocolate bar, but only with more protein.
