#2 – Flaxseed Oil
This oil has a delicate gold color, and a subtle nutty taste. It is an excellent source of polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids, and this is especially important for vegetarians who do not get these from fish. These acids, also called ALAs, can help lower cholesterol, and offer other health benefits, too. The downside of flaxseed oil is that you need to refrigerate it, and it doesn’t last long. Buy it in small batches, and use it up quickly.
