#7 – Eat Healthy
Eat a healthy diet. Exercise and a healthy diet really are the starting point for almost everything in life. Anxiety can easily mess up a healthy lifestyle by creating changes in appetite and causing cravings.
To help your body beat anxiety, eat a diet high in vitamin B, omega-3s and whole-grain carbs and low in processed foods and sugar. Even though it may seem like a good idea at the time, eating every carb in site or binging on chocolate only fuels anxiety. Vitamin B encourages mental health while omega-3s (fish oil) have been proven to reduce anxiety and whole-grain carbs increase seratonin levels.
