Trick #2 – Banknote Beneath Bottle

Props: Empty bottle, a friend’s banknote.

CHALLENEGE: Remove the note from under the bottle without touching the glass.
CHALLENGE: Remove the note from under the bottle without touching the bottle or making it fall over.

SOLUTION: Roll the note slowly inwards, towards the bottle from one or both sides.
SOLUTION: Roll the note slowly inwards, towards the bottle from one or both sides.

VOILA! The rolled note slowly pushes the glass off the end of the note (which you get to keep of course)!

With this trick, the idea is to first set the trick up with one of your banknotes and challenge one of your friends to remove the banknote without touching the glass, explaining that they get to keep the note if they can succeed within 2 minutes.  Only do this on the agreement that if they don’t succeed, they must put a same value banknote of their own under the glass for you to try. You know how to do it. They don’t. Easy money!
