Speed are a Japanese vocal group, which is mainly comprised of students from the Okinawa Actors School. After their debut in 1996, the girls were welcomed with an immediate success. Selling over 20 million albums within a period of three years and eight months, Speed were expected to rise as the most successful girl group in Asia. However, the group disbanded in 2000 to pursue their solo careers. 2012 was a special year for fans of the JPOP queens as they revealed their permanent reunion plans.
