#4 – Hakarl

This is an Icelandic treat that will blow your mind and assail your nostrils with an odour so sharp you will be smelling it for days. This one really exotic dish doesn’t start out  all that sinister but according to TV personality Anthony Bourdain, this is just about the vilest and most disgusting thing he has ever eaten. It is actually a shark that has been left to cure for months and months out in the great outdoors.
