While of course it’s important to keep tabs on your child and make sure that they are safe and healthy, sometimes you just need to step back. Children need to learn to solve problems on their own and think critically. Though it can be aggravating when kids take forever to type their homework, rushing to finish it for them teaches them nothing. If a couple of children get in an argument an adult is always there to step in and resolve it. While there is a time and place for adult intervention, kids need to learn to work out their problems on their own. Otherwise, they’ll rely on other people to solve their issues into adulthood.
