#10 – Whole-Wheat Bread Sandwiches
Whole-wheat bread is the basis on which you can create any savoury or sweet breakfast you can imagine. You can use slices of bread, bagels or muffins. It is all up to you! You can get your bread from the baker, but there are many recipes for home-made bread. And nothing beats the smell of fresh baked bread in the morning! You can take a slice of whole-wheat bread, spread cottage cheese on it and add pieces of pineapple or pomegranate seeds, accompanied by a glass of fresh squeezed juice for a perfect breakfast. Or go for this savoury recipe, using whole-wheat bagels. You will need some fresh basil or baby spinach leaves, pieces of cooked turkey bacon, and cubes of avocado, tomato and mozzarella or flavoured cream cheese. Arrange all of them onto your bagel and you are ready to dig in!
