#6 – Dust Mites

Accumulation of dust is a common problem in many homes. It is therefore not unusual to find dust mites on carpets, sofas, beds and every corner of the house. They are microscopic organisms which thrive in places with high humidity and feed on bacteria, fungi and dead skin. As they multiply, they may cause allergic reactions such as a sneezing, coughing, a stuffy and runny nose. You may have to vacuum clean your carpet and seats regularly to prevent these allergic reactions. Washing your beddings regularly will also eliminate the dust mites.
