#4 – I Don’t Like Exercise
People think of pounding the gym treadmill or squeezing out the last couple of reps on the bench press as the only exercise options, often shuddering at the thought. The reality is very different: there are many ways to be active and the key is to choose something that you enjoy doing so that you actually look forward to it rather than dread it. Even if you have traumatic memories of school PE sessions or haven’t exercised for some time, it doesn’t matter. There are so many options available these days such as walking, hiking, cycling, badminton, frisbee, aqua aerobics and exercise DVDs. It’s just a case of finding something you enjoy and developing a routine.
