#5 – Eggs Are Bad For You

Many people are under the misconception that eggs are bad for them because they raise cholesterol levels, which can lead to heart disease. The reality is that there no research to support the link between the cholesterol found in eggs, to the cholesterol found in a person’s blood. In fact, around 80% of cholesterol that is in a person’s blood is made naturally in the liver.
Eggs are a great source of protein, essential fats, vitamin A, B2, B12 and vitamin D, as well as important minerals such as iodine, zinc and iron. In short, eggs are a superfood and there is nothing wrong with eating 6, or even 8 eggs a week.
