When we are stressed and tired, we tend to take short and shallow breaths, often through our mouths. This deprives our body of oxygen, which in turn, makes us further tired and sleepy.
The solution: Sit erect on your chair, close your eyes, and just breathe deeply for 5 minutes. Breathe in to a count of five and breathe out to a count of five.
