#3 – iPad Mini With Retina Display

Ever since the release of the original iPad mini, people have been anticipating the new, Retina-equipped model. For those who don’t know – Retina is Apple’s term for high-resolution displays they integrate in their devices.
The 7.9-inch display features a resolution of 2048×1536, doubling last year’s model in this aspect. Design-wise, almost nothing has changed. The main difference is the 4.1 percent increase in thickness and 7.5 percent increase in weight, mainly due to new and improved display.
iPad mini with Retina display comes equipped with Apple’s 64-bit A7 processor clocked at 1.3GHz and M7 coprocessor, also found in iPhone 5s. Although it’s much slower on paper than some of its competitors, it works flawlessly when it comes to real-world performance. The new iPad mini will set you back around US$399 / £319, which is US$70 more than last year’s model, but if you enjoy iOS ecosystem and 7.9-inch form factor – Retina iPad mini is a great buy.
