#5 – Camera
Let’s face it; smartphones completely changed the way we take photos. Before them, you had to carry a bulky camera in order to take a simple photo with your friends or when you travel; but today all you need is your smartphone. The quality of most smartphone cameras is still far from even the cheapest DSLR cameras, but they are getting better every year.
When choosing a smartphone, make sure that it has a pretty good camera, as it is one of the features you’ll probably use the most. Opting for a higher-megapixel camera is the easiest way to make sure it’s decent. Of course, this doesn’t mean that a camera with less megapixels is always worse, as many critics agree that iPhone 5s’s 8 MP camera is better than Samsung Galaxy S4’s 13 MP camera.
