Guyana is known for being the 3rd smallest independent state on South American’s mainland, as well as being one of the very few Caribbean countries that is not an island. It is also the only nation in the whole South America to have English as its official language. With its population density being 3.65 people per square kilometer, Guyana is the 10th least populated country in the world.
