#3 Disappointed Not to Kill an Opponent
In an article in the Guardian newspaper, from November 2013 it was reported that Tyson was disappointed he had not killed an opponent in the ring. After hearing of the death of another boxer during a fight and being asked whether he feared he might kill someone, he said ‘Yes, but I was so disappointed that I didn’t. Although I’m happy now that I didn’t.’ He also questioned how another boxer without his skill could of killed someone “He’s not as ferocious as I am. How did he kill somebody? That guy must have been sick already or something.”
