Reason #4 – More Free Apps
Apple iOS is a more closed system than Android, which is open source. This means that iOS mobile application developers have less to worry about when it comes to piracy of their software, which in turn means that they can usually earn more by developing paid for applications on iOS first. The downside for Android users is that some apps appear in the Apple Store before they do in the Google Play Store, but the upside is that there are more ‘freemium’ and ad supported apps for Android phone users.
