The role of Giosuè Orefice in Life is Beautiful is probably one of the most endearing parts ever to be played by a child actor. However, this was not the only Academy Award winning film that Giorgio Cantarini worked in. He was also part of the 2000 movie Gladiator. The Young Artist Award winner also played the role of Slavko in the television film adaptation of author Eric Newby’s autobiographical novel Love and War in the Apennines. The last time we saw this child actor was in 2005 when he competed in the Italian reality television version of the series Dancing With The Stars.
