#5 Katy Perry’s Marriage With Russell Brand

The love story of British comedian Russell Brand and American pop star Katy Perry was like a fairytale come true – at least on the papers.

The two met in an awards night show and eventually became a couple. Call it a whirl wind romance, Mr. Brand proposed to Ms. Perry in Rajasthan, India. They got married on October 23, 2010 with a traditional Hindu ceremony. A lot of people find their relationship ‘cute’ and ‘ideal’. Known for their own style of comedy, its like they’re really meant to be together.

Unfortunately, they filed divorce just after 14 months of marriage. In the movie ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me’, it was revealed that Russell couldn’t keep up with Katy’s intense tour schedule. Just recently, Katy Perry admitted she thought of committing suicide. Poor Katy!
