#2 – Steve Jobs

Steve the Man, the Apple Icon, wasn’t always Silicon Valley royalty. A few years back, he was trudging through classes at the crunchiest of granola schools, Reed College in Oregon. But even those free-form classes weren’t for him. He dropped out after only one semester and went on to design video games for Atari. (That didn’t stick, either. He had to go backpack around India for a while before buckling down to work.)

Our Steve did return to Reed, but only to audit a single calligraphy class, so we’re not really sure that counts.
