After surviving the war, he moved with his family to Australia; he was offered a modeling contract at the age of 17, while working as a cashier at McDonald’s. He appeared in both women’s and men’s fashion shows for the famous Jean-Paul Gautier and Marc Jacobs. Andrej is a “poster boy for high fashion androgyny”, and his looks are certainly memorable.
