Just because musicians release good albums with great production and perfect vocals doesn’t mean that they will be able to provide the same quality of music when they perform the very same albums live. However, some artists perform so well in front of an audience that you get the feeling that they sound exactly the same in concert and on the album. Though it’s hard to determine which concert is the best ever, we have compiled a list of what we think are the 10 of the best and most memorable concerts in history.
#1 Live Aid Charity Concert – Wembley Stadium, 13th July 1985
This charity concert was organized by Midge Ure and Bob Geldof to help raise money for the people in northern Africa that were affected by a large-scale famine that hit this part of the continent. The Live Aid Charity Concert in Wembley Stadium lasted for over 16 hours, with famous bands such as Status Quo, Queen, U2, Paul McCartney, and David Bowie performing throughout the day. The Queen performance at this event was considered to be the greatest.
