#7 – Swimming In Pools Can Cause Enamel Erosion
A study has shown that competitive swimmers who spend a lot of time in overly chlorinated pools are at much higher risk of problems with enamel erosion. Out of 452 frequent swimmers, 15 percent have shown symptoms of enamel erosion, compared to 3 percent of infrequent or non-swimmers. So unless you’re a professional swimmer, you don’t have to worry about taking a dip in the pool from time to time.
