Perhaps you moved to a new city, and don’t know many people there yet. Perhaps you’re still in the same place, but your friends moved away, got busy with kids, or otherwise dropped out of your life. There are many reasons that you may want to make new friends. Here are some great ways to do that.
#1 Expand Your Circles
It’s important to meet new people outside your current social circles. Look for places that you can meet people with similar interests. For instance, if you enjoy theater, reading, hiking, or organic gardening, you could look for clubs in your area that focus on that. Join a group, and dive in and start participating. You will meet new people, and your shared interests can make it easier to develop a friendship.
