#6 – Puffer Fish
The Puffer Fish is believed to be the second most poisonous vertebrate in the world. The victim generally dies from suffocation caused by the paralysis of the diaphragm muscles. This fish is served as a delicacy in Japan and China, but a little mistake in cooking can lead to poisoning and death of the eater. Therefore, only licensed chefs have the authority to prepare it.
