#6 – Led Zeppelin
A former English rock band from London, Led Zeppelin transitioned through a lot of different sound, including hard rock, heavy metal, and folk music. They are regarded as one of the most influential and innovative music groups of all time. They formed in 1968, and disbanded 12 years later, due to their drummer dying from alcohol-related asphyxia. Since then, they’ve reunited four times, during concerts on special occasions. They have a total of 138.2 million certified records sold, while the claimed sales suggest a number of between 200 and 300 million records sold.
