#6 – Nuts Are Bad For You
Despite some people thinking that nuts are bad for you because they’re full of fat, the truth is that nuts are not only nutritious, but they’re a dense source of slow-release energy. While it is true that nuts are high in fat, the type of fat they contain is mainly mono-unsaturated and poly-unsaturated, which have been shown in research to lower bad (LDL) cholesterol and raise good (HDL) cholesterol.
So eat a small portion of nuts every day (especially unshelled nuts) and that will help you to have a healthier heart and immune system and live longer!
