#4 – Cerebrovascular Diseases
Diseases that develop as a result of problems with the blood vessels that supply the brain are called as cerebrovascular diseases. Stroke, transient ischaemic attack, subarachnoid haemorrhage and vascular dementia are the four most common types of cerebrovascular diseases. These diseases were responsible for 128,931 deaths in the US in 2011.
You can take some positive steps to prevent cerebrovascular diseases by quitting smoking, managing your weight, eating a low-fat healthy diet and staying active.
