#6 – Surgery Makes The Cancer Spread Throughout The Body

Don’t avoid surgery because you think that it causes the cancer to spread throughout the body. This is absolutely false. Surgeons are experts at taking biopsy samples and removing tumors during surgery. They know when they have to remove the tumor and when they need to remove the entire body part.
Sometimes, during surgery, doctors find that the cancer was at a much advanced stage than they originally thought. In such cases, treatment is not successful. Patients may even die a few days after the surgery. However, that doesn’t mean that the surgery led to the death of the patient. It just means that the cancer could not be treated.
The bottom line is that surgery does not make the cancer spread throughout the body.
