#5 – Carey Mulligan
Despite being born in 1985, Carey Mulligan looks an awful lot like a wide-eyed teenager. Her numerous roles include the lead in 2009’s An Education at 24, playing a precocious 16-year-old student, and her part alongside Andrew Garfield in Never Let Me Go. Although she appears youthful, Carey also takes on very adult roles. She played Daisy, a woman at least in her mid-twenties, in The Great Gatsby in 2013, and took on the part of Irene in 2011 hit Drive. This lady’s wide eyes and childlike face conceal real acting talent, and she takes full advantage of her ability to play a wide age range.
In addition to acting, Carey is known for charity work. She is the ambassador for the Alzheimer’s Society, and in 2010 she participated in the Safe Project, a drive to raise awareness about sex trafficking. In 2013 she ran a half-marathon sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Society, and continues to take an active role in its activities.
