#1 – Hussaini Hanging Bridge, Pakistan
This bridge looks like it could be straight out of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom! Massive gaps between the planks, wild swinging in the wind, this bridge spans the rapidly flowing Hunza River is and particularly frightening, as the tattered remains of the previous bridge hang by threads next to the one currently in use.
These types of bridges are traditionally constructed mostly from rope and require periodic repair. No one knows who built the Hussaini bridge but it remains the only means for the local people to brave the trek to big cities in northern Pakistan.
