#8 – Tea & Coffee Are Bad For You
Many of us have been led to believe that tea and coffee are bad for us, due mainly to their caffeine content. While drinking 10 cups of tea or coffee is certainly not recommended, especially if loaded with sugar, 2 or 3 cups a day can actually be beneficial.
Caffeine is naturally ergogenic (it’s often used by athletes to improve performance) and tea and coffee contain antioxidants as well as small amounts or vitamins and minerals.
For coffee, we recommend taking it black, with no or very little sugar and the same goes for tea. If you don’t like black tea, there are a whole array of healthy herbal teas available at supermarkets.
