#9 – Soy Products Are Good For You
Many of us have the image of far eastern people being healthy, due to a soy rich diet. While this is true to some degree, traditional soy foods consumed by far eastern people undergo a time-honoured, slow fermentation process that removes many of the toxins, anti-nutrients and indigestible chemicals found in the soy beans.
Modern soy products such as soy milk, soy cheese and tofu contain many of these unhealthy elements and should be avoided. Remember, if you have read research that promotes these type of products as healthy (or even as superfoods) this research is largely bought and paid for by the soy industry.
