#4 – Quinoa is High in Fibre
Quinoa is known for containing more than twice as much fibre than other grains, as you will find 17-27 grams (depending on the type of the grain) in just one cup. Note that when you boil quinoa you will reduce the amount of fibre, because the grain absorbs a lot of water. In case you don’t know, fibre is popular for lowering cholesterol levels, reducing blood sugar levels, and can contribute to gut health and weight loss.
